This Race version dual rate spring hardware kit from Schmidty Racing Suspension converts the OEM, aluminum body Fox 2.0" shocks into truly adjustable dual rate shocks. These collars will thread right onto the OEM shock body without any shock modification. This allows you to adjust when to transition from both springs being active to where the shock transfers to the lower main spring alone, giving you the secondary spring rate.
Our Race hardware is made of 6061 billet aluminum and is ready for heavy duty or race use. The top pre-load collar is a one-piece collar with a stainless steel pinch bolt and uses a stud style spanner wrench for effortless pre-load adjustments which replaces the two (2) OEM toothed collars. The 3/4" thick lower spring retainer clip replaces the OEM cast aluminum spring clip, which is thinner and commonly breaks. Our hardware also allows you to retain the OEM plastic shaft guards on the rear shocks for XP900.

Each kit will do two (2) shocks. If you need enough for four (4) shocks you will need two (2) kits.
These will fit all years of the XP900-2 and the Robby Gordon RZR 800-4 that uses the same 2.0" aluminum bodied Fox Podium shocks. This kit is also specific to the new RZR-S 900, RZR-4 900, and RZR-S 1000.
These will not fit Walker Evans shocks. Also will not fit the smaller RZR-S 800 1.5" Fox shocks.
Many companies offer spring kits with two (2) springs per shock, but without a mechanical stop they won't utilize dual rate until one of the springs coil-bind (which may never happen!). Often in these cases, you are effectively getting an expensive single rate spring: As long as both springs are active, there is only one spring rate being utilized (the combination of the two springs). Our kits may cost a bit more, but you get what you pay for.
