Description

This is a true dual-rate spring kit with adjustable crossover collars from Schmidty Racing Suspensions for the Yamaha R-Max 2 & 4 Seat Models. These kits feature top of the line Eibach brand springs which replace the low quality / saggy / poor riding OEM springs. The performance of this kit is very impressive and takes the drivability of the R-Max from a sport utility to the level of many sport utv models on the market. This is a truly transformational spring kit.

This kit will only fit the Fox Performance Series 2.05" aluminum thick bodied shocks that came standard on the Yamaha R-Max 2 & 4 Seat Models.

With our dual rate spring kit you can expect to:
  1. Regain lost ride height.
  2. Receive a truly plush ride eliminating most of the trail chatter feedback you get from embedded rocks, ruts, tree roots, tire tracks, etc. with the lighter initial spring rate of both springs active.
  3. Superior bottoming resistance when the spring separator contacts the crossover collars and engages the heavier main spring solely for the remainder of the shock stroke.

Hardware Included in this kit:

    • (1) Installaltion Instruction Sheet
    • (4) Delrin Spring Seperator / Slider
    • (4) 2 Piece Billet Crossover Rings
    • (8) Quality Eibach Springs (4 tenders & 4 main-springs)
    • *Each kit does all four (4) front and rear shocks

      Weight Rates:
      • Medium / Trail: for all around high speed trails, duning, and moderate jumping. (Most Popular)
      • Heavy: for those carrying a heavy payload such as spare tires, parts, tools, gas, water tanks, gear, etc. or extreme aggressive driving. (Note: Heavy rate is designed for a heavier payloads, meaning it will ride a little stiff if you are not carrying much weight)

We use quality Eibach springs in our kits, because they are the best! While Eibach is not the cheapest spring, we want to provide you with the best possible kit when you go to upgrade your ride with replacement springs. Eibach springs, combined with the features of our Schmidty Racing Suspensions hardware, create a spring kit that is second-to-none in the industry! Customers who have chosen our proven kits have been thrilled with the ride and performance we offer. Many of our customers originally used spring kits from our competitors before coming to us, but after being disappointed with others' results they tried ours and wholeheartedly affirm the superior quality.

We encourage you to ask our competitors what springs they are using in their kits!

5 of 5 RMAX4 spring kit December 8, 2021
Reviewer: Terry T from Wittmann, AZ
Called these guys up and since I’m in AZ I was able to take my shocks off, take them to their shop and have them install the kits. I put about 700 miles on my rig before upgrading the springs and about 500 miles since. The ride quality is day and night. I definitely recommend this kit. I couldn’t be happier with product and the service.

4 of 5 Yamaha R-Max 2 Dual Rate Spring Kit October 19, 2021

I am fortunate to have discovered your website and the kit aforementioned. The custom aluminum gear is impressive and I'm happy to be back on Eibach springs ( raced cross country snowmobile ) with them in the past.

I would like to point out to whom it may concern that your install instruction sheets appear to be incorrect regarding the orientation of the REAR spring divider. The diameter of the long lip mates the tender spring confirmed by your social media picture of the rear dual-rate equipped shock assemblies. The instructions  call for the shorter lip to face the tender spring. I don't believe that is accurate but I am open to some further education.  Hopefully this may be of some assistance to this great spring kit from Schmidty Racing Suspensions. I can't wait to test the proper crossover arrangement.
