Introducing Schmidty Racing Suspension's full replacement spring kit for the Yamaha YXZ 1000R OEM springs. The OEM springs are known to be under-sprung in the front, and over-sprung in the rear. Our kit addresses all of those problems. We have done hours of testing with a myriad of different rate combo's; in a large variety of riding areas. We have come up with a kit the flat out works!! Plush ride, with great all around performance! The testing has been done, so there is no guesswork for you, and therefore you can simply install our kit and ride.
Hours of testing have been done so you can simply install the kit and ride! Easy to follow set-up and install instructions with pictures give starting pre-load and crossover gaps settings, as well as suggested clicker settings. No shock modifications are needed to install this kit. Also when you install this kit, check out our pinch-bolt design, billet preload collars, which make preload adjustment a snap. They use a pin-style spanner wrench for positive engagement, and cannot slip off while making adjustments and are much easier to adjust than the OEM collars which use a "hook" style spanner which slip off all the time, bloodying your knuckles, or scuffing your SxS.

If you have previously purchased one of our tender kits and want to get a full kit for Trail / Dunes, choose "Less Tender Kit" in the drop-down. Since we combine our tender springs and hardware for this kit (which you would have already) you will then receive the balance of the full kit.
Our kit uses top quality Eibach springs. There are a number of other companies out there selling kits using lesser quality springs for less money. But if the pros choose Eibach when winning is on the line, shouldn't you? Early on SRS put out the economical, and highly effective "tender" kit for use with the YXZ's OEM springs. Our triple-rate in the rear targets that same rate for initial plushness, a median mid-stoke rate for whoop and trail eating capability, and a heavier rate for the bottom portion of the stroke; for superior bottoming resistance to anyone else's kit. Our kit also address's the under-sprung front as well. Our kit features adjustable crossover collars front and rear, so you can adjust crossover points if desired.
