This is a shock rebuild seal kit from Schmidty Racing Suspensions for rebuilding the Fox 2.5" internal bypass shocks on SVT Ford Raptor pickup trucks. These are premium rebuild kits and include all the seal needed to rebuild one (1) Revision A or B shock per kit. Each seal kit comes equipped to rebuild either revision shocks, so not all included seals/o-rings may be needed / used. Front and rear and seal kits are different, so be sure to order the kit you need.
We have combined all the different kit options into one listing to make it easier for you to choose the exact kit you want. Kits are available with either "Buna" or "Viton" material o-rings. Buna is the factory-original material but is softer and will wear out faster than Viton. Viton is less prone to damage wear or heat and will typically increase time between servicing, however, it is not recommended for Arctic climates as it is a more dense material and underperforms in colder temperatures.
We also use, recommend, and sell Lucas synthetic shock oil. Lucas synthetic fork / shock oil provably lowers fork or shock temperatures up to 25-30 degrees under harsh conditions and reduces wear / friction (compared to other leading shock oils). Using this oil results in better performance over longer periods of time and in longer intervals between servicing. We recommend 7.5wt for the Ford Raptor shocks.
